Called to place my usual order and got no answer for 3 weeks straight....came here and found out they're closed!! Can't even believe it, I'm so sad. There was nothing around here like them!

Food is always great and fresh, customer service is always good!!!!!!! The deboned chicken is so yummy!!!

Although they recently changed owners/name change. I have my fingers crossed the food + meat quality stay the same! This place is PHENOMENAL for their lamb. Fahsah is something my boyfriend and I were ordering at least once a week that's how much we loved it here. We will be back to reassess once they re-open. High expectations to fill!

Food was phenomenal. Full of flavor. Had the chicken haneeth and a lamb Kafka shawarma. Both were magnificent.

Amazing restaurant. Best Yemeni food around. Taiz family platter is perfect for our family of 5 and we always have the best leftovers. We buy 2 large humus every week because it is so addicting. Nobody makes humus like this place. And also the shawarma sandwiches are no joke.

Excellent food. Great service. Just be aware that regardless of the number of people in your group an automatic 15% gratuity is included.

My family had a great experience the first time we visited Taiz and had to return for more. This time we brought the whole family to enjoy. We ordered a medium hummus with fresh bread to start. For dinner we ordered chicken Kabobs and Beef Kabobs to share. To begin, the medium hummus was more than enough for the three of us to share, plus some leftover. It is creamy and flavorful, without excess garlic. It is my wife's absolute favorite hummus around. The bread was served fresh and hot. It is pillowy and also crisp in the right ways. It paired really well with the hummus. For dinner, we split one order of the chicken kabobs and one order of the beef kabobs. Both came with fatoush salad and fries. The waiter gave a side of Toum (garlic paste to go along with the kabobs. The chicken was nicely grilled and super tender. The beef was grilled nicely to a medium cook. Each kabob was accompanied by amazing fresh pickles that were sour and a little spicy. The fatoush salad is a nice refreshing side dish with lettuce, cucumber, and tomatoes. Let's talk about the French fries. They were super crisp on the outside and tender on the inside. It was sprinkled with a delicious seasoning, some sort of middle eastern blend. My daughter said they were the best fries she has had in a long time. To end I ordered a Yemeni tea that is flavored with cardamom and other delicious spices. This has become one of our favorite spots. It is clean and beautiful inside. The service is great and the food even better. It makes me sad that this place is not packed. We will continue to eat here and you should give it a try too. Well done!

Order the hummus!! I don't know how it's possible, but our second trip here was even better than the first. We were greeted and sat immediately, and I am happy to report that there were quite a few other groups of people in there as well! My husband and I split the Shish Combo with fries, medium hummus appetizer, and a cup of lentil soup. We also ordered Diet Coke, which was on the menu but the server looked at us a little bit odd when we asked for it, no refills were given. The hummus was so smooth and buttery, it also had a nice nutty flavor that kept us coming back for more, by far my favorite thing on the menu. Our combo came out shortly after ordering and the beef skewer was the clear winner, followed closely by the grilled chicken skewer. The lentil soup was just ok, but it's not something I would normally get and probably wouldn't order again. Complimentary tea was not offered this time, but I was so full to be honest that I didn't miss it. The call button on the table is a nice touch as well, it's very convenient to press a button to get someone's attention rather than someone stopping by constantly. Bravo!! We will be back again soon.

Today, I wanted to go to a restaurant I had not been to before. I did a search and found this restaurant, and I decided to go. I never knew this restaurant existed. This is the first time that I have had Yemeni cuisine. I have a friend, Sam, from Yemen, although he has never invited me for dinner at his house. A true friend ? I'm joking. A great guy. My family and I walked into this restaurant. The restaurant has a plain, casual, welcoming atmosphere. Our waiter Sala, a very nice young man, told us to sit anywhere we wanted. Instead of tap water, we were given four bottles of water. I have never been to a restaurant that does this. It took us a while to order. So much to decide from. For our appetizers, I selected : Samboosa. A crispy fried, triangular pastry dough filled with ground beef infused with spices, herbs, and vegetables. French Fries. Don't judge. My young daughter wanted them. My son decided on the Fahsah, a traditional dish of shredded lamb, gravy, and mashed potatoes served bubbling hot in a clay bowl. A very impressive presentation. I selected the Chicken Agdah, a Yemeni-style stew cooked with chunks of chicken, carrots, potatoes, onion & parsley. This dish came with two sides, so I selected the Lentil Soup and Yellow Basmati Rice. My daughter and wife selected the Fattoush salad. One with grilled chicken and the other one with beef Shawarma. When dinner was brought, it also included Tandoori bread, Garlic sauce, Tomato sauce( like Mexican salsa but better ) Everything that we had came in large portions. The food was very tasty, and the spices in the food elevated our culinary experience to a whole new realm. The star of the show was the Fahsah. I felt sorry for my son because we kept sampling his dinner. Well, not that sorry. We finished our meal with Adeni Tea. Hot tea is made with white sugar, cardamom seeds, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and milk. A pleasant end to a very good dinner. I asked Sala, our waiter, what to recommend for next time. He said that you must order Lamb Haneeth. He said this is the ultimate Yemeni lamb roast that is slowly roasted, fall-off-the-bone tender. Besides having a number of Yemeni dishes, they also have the expected Mediterranean dishes : Hummus, Falafel, Galabah, various meat combos, platters, kebobs, grape leaves, Shawarma, Salmon, lamb chops, etc. Yes, bring the kids. They have a menu for them. For all the food that we had; the price was very fair. Question. Will I go back ? Absolutely.
